Rand Farm Park

On Wednesday 3rd July, Kestrel Class went on a trip to Rand Farm Park near Lincoln. As it was raining slightly when we first arrived, some of us decided to go on the tractors and in the indoor play area.

Next, we had cuddles with some gorgeous baby guinea-pigs.

Feeding the donkeys.

No calves were harmed in the taking of this photograph (honestly!). The lamb in the right hand corner obviously decided it wanted to be famous too.

Big smiles all round!

Feeding time for the lambs.

Now onto the calves.

Thoughtful pig.

It's a tough life having all these admiring fans!

Outside again.

Meet Daisy the Jersey cow, whose milk is used to feed the lambs and calves. We learned how the cows are milked.

Getting ready for our tractor ride around the fields.

The end of a most enjoyable day!

Huge thanks to our helpers, Mrs Maksymiw-Magan and Mrs Streeter and also to Mrs Laing.
